Monster Meeting, Solo Exhibition by Anukun Hamala

Have been working in several jobs, I do see people in different dimensions. This inspires the artwork that would make few pages if I had to describe into words.
At first, I focus only things I want to see and let other objects blurred and faded to make a capture of good memory.
Yet the world is full of diversity in the same time and space. Every capture we make, there are both things we want to see and things we never recognise. It is hard to pretend they do not co-exist.

การที่เราต้องเปลี่ยนบทบาทหลายๆ อย่างในการทำงาน ทำให้มองเห็นคนหนึ่งคนมีหลายมิติ ทำให้อยากสร้างงานออกมาจากสิ่งที่ไม่สามารถเขียนเป็นบทความยาวๆ ได้
ตอนแรกเราเลือกที่จะโฟกัสสิ่งที่เราอยากเห็น และลดความสำคัญของสิ่งที่เราไม่อยากเห็นลงไป เพื่อให้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งในความทรงจำที่ดี
แต่บางครั้ง เราก็แวบคิดได้ว่าโลกมันเต็มไปด้วยความหลากหลาย แตกต่าง ขัดแย้งกันในเวลาเดียวกัน ในสถานที่เดียวกัน ไม่ว่าจะตั้งใจ หรือหลงลืมไปชั่วขณะเวลา สิ่งที่ไม่ชอบ ที่หลุดโฟกัสของเรา ล้วนก็คงอยู่ร่วมกัน ยากจะหลับหูหลับตาเพื่อให้ลืมการมีอยู่ของสิ่งที่เราไม่ชอบไปได้

Born as genuine Chiang Mai, Anukun graduated from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in department of Architectural Education, Faculty of Industrial Education. He has worked with the magazines for 10 years and participated in many writing and graphic design contest in Thailand with few awards. Anukun has frequently joined graphic design exhibitions both in Chiang Mai and Bangkok. Some of his works were published in several Thai and foreign graphic design compilation books. Today, he runs his own small business selling original design T-shirts and handmade products in Chiang Mai.
